The company has successfully developed and managed a diverse portfolio of projects, including offices, apartments, mixed-use spaces, and land development projects. Lowder New Homes, a mid-sized production single-family homebuilder, is part of the Colonial Company family and operates in the Southeast. Lowder Construction, another subsidiary, played a crucial role as the primary General Contractor during the early years of Colonial Properties' public listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Additionally, the company had successful subsidiaries in Insurance and Mortgage businesses that supported its primary operations in the real estate sector. With a total of 50 employees, Colonial Company is a holding company of five operating subsidiaries.
